I'm a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Full Practice Authority. I've been a registered nurse since 2009 and practicing aesthetic medicine since 2018. Before aesthetics, I spent years caring for patients in oncology, where I learned that trust is earned through honesty, precision, and compassion. Those principles continue to guide every treatment I perform.
My philosophy is simple: natural, never overdone. I believe the best aesthetic results are natural, balanced, and uniquely yours. Every treatment is personalized to your anatomy, goals, and facial movement — not a one-size-fits-all approach. I'll always explain your options, answer your questions, and recommend only what I genuinely believe is right for you.

Why I founded DEMI
I founded DEMI because I wanted to create a different kind of aesthetic practice — one where patients feel welcomed, informed, and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. A place where honest guidance matters more than sales, and where beautiful results never come at the expense of looking like yourself. Diocelina "Dio" Medina
Dio came to aesthetics from pediatric nursing, where she spent years caring for medically complex children in foster care — work that taught her patience, gentleness, and how to really listen. She completed her advanced microneedling training at DEMI, where every treatment is grounded in safety, attention to detail, and natural-looking results. She's also certified in IV infusion therapy and serves as a CPR and First Aid instructor.
She loves microneedling, facials, and skin rejuvenation — treatments where you can see the confidence come back along with the glow. Her goal is for every client to feel comfortable, cared for, and heard, with a plan built around their skin and no one else's.
Her clients put it best: "Dio is warm, knowledgeable, gentle, and always makes me feel comfortable and confident." Outside the studio she's traveling, staying active, trying new restaurants, and making memories with her family.

Andrea Fuentes
Andrea has been a licensed esthetician for over ten years. Trained at the Aveda Institute, she brings a holistic approach to skincare, specializing in customized facials, dermaplaning, lymphatic facial massage, LED light therapy, and personalized skincare treatments.
She's also a certified yoga instructor, and it shows in every appointment. Her approach is calm, intentional, and centered on caring for the whole person — not just their skin. Andrea is passionate about helping clients achieve healthy, natural-looking skin through thoughtful treatment plans that fit their goals and lifestyle. Her motto says it all: be your own muse.
Whether you're brand new to skincare or have a routine down to a science, Andrea will make sure you feel informed, supported, and comfortable every step of the way. When she's not at DEMI, you'll find her teaching yoga, planning community wellness events, or searching for Chicago's best coffee shop.
